(RV) USF Football to Host Minnesota Duluth During Cougar Days

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - (RV) Sioux Falls (5-2, 4-2 NSIC) continues to receive votes in the AFCA Coaches' Poll as they prepare to take on Minnesota Duluth (3-3, 2-3 NSIC) this weekend for homecoming.

QUICK HITS: USF is returning to The Bob following their 100th DII victory with a 35-21 win over Concordia-St. Paul last weekend...Camden Dean  jumped to 12th in passing yards and passing touchdowns with 3,493 career passing yards and 34 scores... Andy Henson continues to prove as a valuable asset to the Cougar defense leading the team with 46 tackles on the season...The Cougar offense currently sits within the top-4 of the NSIC scoring chart while averaging 32 points per game.

MATCHUP HISTORY: Sioux Falls is 4-2 against Minnesota Duluth dating back to their first matchup in 2013 when UMD snagged a 32-7 win over USF...Since then, the Cougars are 4-1 against the Bulldogs with their largest win being in 2019 when Sioux Falls defeated Duluth 34-3 at home...Sioux Falls is 3-0 at home against Duluth and have out scored the Bulldogs 170-146.

THE LAST TIME: The Cougars fell to the Bulldogs, 42-34, on the road last season...Dylan Rudningen & Camden Dean led the offense with two rushing scores apiece...The defense was led by Michael Stenbroten with eight tackles followed by Eli Schlangen with seven...Brady Crawford and Matt Goehring each had a tackle for loss while Cain McWilliams and Amaurii Grosskopf teamed up for the other...Goehring pulled down the lone interception for The Coo before returning it for 26-yards while Brenden Holt returned a fumble for 8-yards.

PREGAME TIDBITS: USF is currently outscoring their opponents 224-167 while continuing to find success through the air...Carter Slykhuis continues to lead The Coo with six receiving touchdowns on the season along with 550 yards while averaging 78.57-yards per game...Dylan Rudningen leads the rushing game with five scores on the season along with 402-yards on 89 carries and averages 57.43-yards per game...Camden Dean has thrown for 1,434-yards this season with 16 passing scores and five on the ground with 396 rushing yards averaging 56.57 rushing yards per game...The Cougar defense has been led by Andy Henson, Garret Hoffman & Matt Goehring all with 40+ tackles on the season...Henson leads the team with 46 tackles along with 4.5 tackles for a loss of 14-yards and a sack for a loss of 7-yards...Hoffman adds 43 tackles along with a pass break-up and a recovered fumble while Goehring adds 40 tackles and leads USF with three interceptions.
