SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – USF Men's Wrestling fell to (RV) Minnesota State, 37-6, during their home opener tonight. The Cougars fall to 1-4 in duals on the season. 

Tonight's dual started at 157-pounds when Lincoln Fink took on #9 Caleb Meunier. Fink fell to Meunier in an 8-5 decision and moves to 9-8 on the season, 1-4 in dual settings and 0-3 against NSIC opponents. 

Cooper Sanders fell to #17 Kole Marko at 165-pounds in a 15-6 major decision. Sanders moves to 11-6 on the season, 2-3 in dual settings and 0-3 against NSIC opponents. 

At 174-pounds, Grant Moraski fell to #10 Drake Hayward in a 1:37 pin. Moraski moves to 5-6 on the season, 1-2 in dual settings and 0-1 against NSIC opponents. 

Timothy Lacina took on Evan Farley at 184-pounds falling in a 1:27 pin. Lacina moves to 1-5 on the season, 0-3 in dual settings and 0-3 against NSIC opponents. 

At 197-pounds, Daevon Vereen fell to Jesus Gonzalez in a 6:00 pin. Vereen moves to 5-3 on the year, 0-1 in dual settings and 0-3 against NSIC opponents. 

Isaiah Laguna picked up the first win of the night for The Coo with an 8-5 decision over Tanner Gaffey. Laguna advances to 8-6 on the season, 1-4 in dual settings and 1-2 against NSIC opponents. 

Jaxton Packer took on Jacob Fitzpatric at 125-pounds falling in a 12-3 major decision. Packer moves to 11-7 on the season, 2-3 in dual settings and 0-3 against NSIC opponents. 

At 133-pounds, #11 Beau Klingensmith returned to the mat to take on Chase Beckett.  Klingensmith took a 9-4 decision over Becket and advances to 4-2 on the season, 1-0 in dual settings and 1-0 against NSIC opponents.  

Jordon Oehme fell to #11 Brayden Sonnentag in a 5-0 decision. Oehme moves to 7-3 on the season, 3-2 in dual settings and 1-2 against NSIC opponents.  

Riley Fitzsimmons closed the night out at 149-pounds falling to #17 Walker Bents in a 1:27, 16-1 tech fall. Fitzsimmons moves to 3-6 on the season, 0-1 in dual settings and 0-1 against NSIC opponents.
