SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – USF Men's Wrestling closed out the 2024-25 season at the NCAA Region V tournament with one placer in Jordon Oehme. The Cougars finished 6-10 on the season in duals and 1-7 in NSIC dual matchups. 

Jaxton Packer went 0-2 on the day at 125-pounds. Packer fell to Sloan Johannsen of Northern State and Carlo Arreola of SMSU to moves to finish the season 11-13 overall, 2-7 in duals and 0-7 in NSIC matchups. 

At 133-pounds, #8 Beau Klingensmith went 1-2 on the day with a first round, 9-4 decision victory over Clay Gates of Northern State. Klingensmith dropped the next two matches to #15 Ryan Henningson of Moorhead and Chase Hanson of SMSU to close out his season with an overall record of 15-4 on the season, 11-1 in duals and 5-1 against NSIC opponents. 

At 141-pounds, Jordon Oehme was the lone placer for the Cougars finishing sixth while going 2-3 on the day. Oehme fell to #16 Ryan Wehner of Upper Iowa in the opening round before responding with a 4-2 decision over St. Cloud State's #17 Alyeus Craig and a 4:36 pin over Connor Whiteley of Augustana. Oehme dropped the final two matches to #16 Ryan Wehner and #1 Cayden Henschel of Wisconsin-Parkside to finish the season 14-12, ... in dual settings and ... against NSIC opponents. 

Sir Brandon Watts went 0-2 at 149-pounds falling to #10 Ethen Doty of Upper Iowa and #16 Walker Bents of Minnesota State. Watts finishes the season 6-5 on the year, 3-1in duals and 3-0 in NSIC matches. 

Lincoln Fink finished the day 0-2 at 157-pounds falling to #1 Joel Jesuroga of St. Cloud State and #16 Griffin Lundeen of Northern State. Lincoln finishes 13-18 on the year, 4-12 in duals and 1-6 in NSIC matchups. 

At 165-pounds, Cooper Sanders picked up a 3:21 pin over Upper Iowa's Collin Altensey to go 1-2 on the day. Sanders fell to #5 Dajun Johnson of Wisconsin-Parkside and #20 Kole Marko of Minnesota State to finish 17-15 on the year, 7-10 in dual settings and 2-7 against NSIC opponents. 

Grant Moraski went 1-2 on the day at 174-pounds with a 15-2 major decision over Northern State's Spencer Roth. Moraski fell to #9 Lawson Losee of Upper Iowa and #17 Coy Gunderson of Augustana to close the year 11-15, 6-7 in dual matchups and 1-6 in NSIC matches. 

At 184-pounds, Daevon Vereen finished the day 1-2 with a injury default win over Minot States' Dom Howlett. Vereen fell to Augustana's #9 Cade Mueller and Upper Iowa's #10 Colter Bye to close out the year with a record of 12-10, 6-6 in dual settings and 2-4 against NSIC opponents. 

Stetson Davis went 0-2 at 197-pounds while falling to #19 Chase Stegall of Wisconsin-Parkside and #13 Geoffrey Freeman of Upper Iowa. Davis finishes 5-19 on the year, 1-14 in duals and 0-7 in NSIC matches. 

Isaiah Laguna closed out the day 0-2 with losses to Max Balow of Augustana and La'Ron Parks of #7 St. Cloud State to finish 14-13 on the year, 7-9 in dual matchups and 3-5 against NSIC opponents.
