AZUSA/KEARNEY– The USF track team was back at it for Day 3 of the Bryan Clay Invitational yesterday in Azusa, California. The Cougar throwers made their way down to Kearney, Nebraska to compete in the UNK Loper Invitational on Saturday as well.

Bryan Clay Invitational Day 3

·     Cassidy O'Meara placed 2nd in the women's 1500 meter run with a career best time of 4:34.46. Jessica Lutmer also ran a career best with a time of 4:43.04.

·     Khot Juac ran a career best in the women's 1500 meter with a time of 4:30.65. Morgan Gehl also ran a career best with a time of 4:32.72. 

·     Jakob Hanna ran a career best in the men's 1500 meter with a time of 3:50.57.

UNK Loper Invitational

·       Kamry Lindsey placed 2nd in the women's shot put with a career best throw of 12.78 meters. Kayla Van Osdel placed 3rd with a throw of 12.70 meters. Delanie Van Driel placed 3rd with a throw of 12.27 meters. Raygen Diede placed 7th with a career best throw of 11.30 meters.

·       Mackenzie Bengtson placed 5th in the invitational women's discus with a throw of 44.85 meters. Kayla Van Osdel threw a career best 37.58 meters. Delanie Van Driel also had a career best throw of 36.74 meters. Raygen Diede threw a career best 36.30 meters.

·       Shelby Svien placed 6th in the women's hammer with a career best throw of 38.95 meters. Delanie Van Driel placed 7th with a career best throw of 38.60 meters. Kayla Van Osdel placed 8th with a throw of 38.49 meters. Olivia Baumberger placed 10th with a career best throw of 37.09 meters. Raygen Diede threw a career best 28.72 meters. 

·       Olivia Baumberger placed 1st in the women's javelin with a throw of 42.07 meters. This distance hits the NCAA provisional mark.  

·       Cody Egger placed 6th in the men's shot put with a throw of 12.53 meters.

·       Jaymeson Wolkow placed 5th in the invitational men's shot put with a throw of 14.68 meters.

       Cody Egger placed 2nd in the men's discus with a career best throw of 46.27 meters. Carson Hausmann placed 8th with a throw of 40.00 meters.

·       Tyler Hiatt placed 2nd in the invitational men's discus with a throw of 51.84 meters. This distance hits the NCAA provisional mark.  Jaymeson Wolkow placed 8th with a throw of 43.74 meters. Marek Rex placed 9th with a throw of 41.32 meters.

·       Tyler Hiatt placed 4th in the men's hammer with a throw of 45.28 meters. Marek Rex placed 7th with a throw of 43.70 meters.

·       Jaymeson Wolkow placed 7th in the men's invitational hammer with a throw of 50.99 meters.

·       Denver Decker placed 8th in the men's javelin with a throw of 42.25 meters. Cody Egger placed 9th with a throw of 40.40 meters.
