DENVER, COLO. – Sioux Falls (4-7, 0-0 NSIC) dropped both games of Saturday's doubleheader against MSU Denver, falling 17-11 in a high-scoring opener before struggling offensively in a 15-1 loss in game two.

Game 1 – Sioux Falls 11, MSU Denver 17
The Cougars put together a late offensive surge but couldn't overcome an early deficit, falling 17-11 in the first game of the day.
MSU Denver exploded for eight runs in the second inning and four more in the third, putting USF in a deep hole. The Cougars chipped away with a two-run fourth and a five-run sixth, fueled by Ben Serie's grand slam and Jaxon Haase's solo homer.
Game 2 – Sioux Falls 1, MSU Denver 15
Sioux Falls struggled to generate offense in game two, managing just five hits in a lopsided 15-1 defeat.
MSU Denver capitalized on extra-base hits, launching five home runs and scoring in every inning. William Edwards provided the lone RBI for USF with a seventh-inning single, while Myles Rees, Nolan Drossel and Ben Serie each added hits.
