National mark by Morse headlines Indoor Track & Field's strong performance In SDSU DII Challenge

BROOKINGS, S.D.— The University of Sioux Falls Indoor Track & Field (IDTF) squad had a strong showing on Friday during the SDSU Division II Challenge. Both squads clocked in at third, with the women facing 14 other squads, and the men facing 15 others.

The crowning achievement of the Cougars' performance on Friday was senior Jacob Morse, who won the 60M hurdles with a time of 8.13. This time stamp of 8.13 was a meet record in the event, but not only that, a USF program record-breaking, provisional, national mark.

In total, five Cougars won a respective that they took part in. Along with Morse, the Cougars also saw junior Taryn Ceglowski (800M Run- 2:17.10), senior Zach Lundberg (1 Mile Run- 4:17.97), sophomore David Ecker (3K Run- 9:01.13), and senior Tristan Zawadzki (Pole Vault, 15'8.25" / 4.78M) also claimed top spots on Friday.
