Jamey Jenkins

Jamey (Hofer) Jenkins was a key member of the USF Women’s Basketball team from 2008-2012. Originally from Hartford, SD, Jenkins brought her talents from West Central High School where she helped lead the Trojans to a 2008 South Dakota Class A State Championship while becoming a three-time all-conference athlete.

Following her transition to college basketball, Jenkins quickly made herself known across the conference as well as the nation. A three-time GPAC All-Conference selection and 2008 GPAC Freshman of the Year, she rounded out her career ninth in all-time scoring with 1,331 career points while earning NAIA All-American Honorable Mention honors following her junior campaign when she averaged 14.2 points a game.

Throughout her career, Jenkins saw 121 games averaging 11 points a game along with 5.2 rebounds. In 2011, she helped lead the Cougars to their first NAIA National Tournament berth since 2003 as well as the elite eight round of the 2011 NAIA National Tournament.

Jenkins graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science while earning the USF Mission Award in exercise science for her efforts in the classroom. Currently, she resides in Hartford, SD where she serves as an Instructional Designer for Regions Bank. Jenkins and her husband, Andrew, have four children Hunter, Weslee, Rhys and Rowyn.
