A standout men’s basketball player for Sioux Falls College, Roger Heibuilt earned four varsity letters from 1964-68 when he totaled 1,260 career points.
When he left SFC, the 6-5 forward from Chancellor, S.D., ranked third all-time on the career scoring list. Heibult, who set a program career rebounds record with 1,008, led SFC to consecutive Tri-State Conference Championships in 1965-66 and 1967-68. He also set the mark for averaged rebounds per game with 12.7 during 1967-68. Heibult was a two-time All-Tri-State Conference selection (1966-67, 1967-68. He was also named second team All-District in 1968.
